When I was listening 手嶌葵's songs, then"The rose" pop up. That led me the link of Bette Midler in Youtube. Then.....her voice brought me back to my bitter seventeen, those bitter but beautiful years. I still remember how the song moved me a lot and full of tears when I listened it first time. In that poor but pure era, as a student only could listen tape. I just rewind the tape again and again....till the tape was broken. I always remember how those lyrics encouraged me a lot in that rigid enviorment. Everytime I went to KTV, I always sang that song as a ritual for myself.
Tonight, I listen it again and agian, and also cried again. Those phrases still moved me a lot!
